According to West African Igbo myth, after the shattering of the primordial world and the death and resurrection of His feminine double, Chukwu, the masculine polarity of the Igbo Primordial Androgynous Deity, never fully recovers from the traumatic shock of the event. Discerning the inevitable shortcomings from this new existential state, Chukwu decides to leave the physical universe behind, return to His solitary pillared chamber (Ozi-Obi-Chukwu), and lock the Door of Mercy (Uzo Ogo) behind Himself.
